Where to Report a Bad Phone Number

The reporting option is available in two places:

What You'll Be Asked to Provide

When submitting a report, you'll need to include:

  • A reason — such as Wrong person, Disconnected number, or Generic number.

  • Additional details (required) — for example, what happened when you called.

💡 Tip: The more specific your notes, the more useful the report. For example: "Reached the company switchboard, not the prospect."

What Happens After You Submit

  • Wiza confirms the report and immediately begins looking for a replacement phone number.

  • The replacement lookup runs without using an additional phone credit.

  • You cannot report the same phone number twice on the same profile — but you can report a different number on that profile if needed.

How Wiza Uses Your Reports

  • The reported number is flagged as invalid for you immediately.

  • If multiple users report the same number on the same profile, Wiza can mark it as globally invalid — removing it for everyone.

  • This collective feedback helps improve phone data quality across the platform over time.

Best Practices for Reporting

  • Only report confirmed bad numbers — wrong person, disconnected line, or a generic company number.

  • Be specific in your notes — details like "voicemail belonged to someone else" help Wiza process the report more accurately.
