What is considered a duplicate?

A duplicate is defined as a contact you’ve already found using Wiza, identified by their LinkedIn profile URL. If the LinkedIn profile of a person you’re trying to export already exists in the folder you’re exporting to, they will automatically be skipped.

If you’re new and would like to better understand how folders work, we’ve provided a helpful article below to get you started.

It’s important to note that duplicates are only skipped within the same folder. This means if you export a list that contains a duplicate contact into a different folder from where the original contact resides, the duplicate will not be skipped, and a credit will still be deducted.

Are you charged credits for duplicates?

No, you won’t be charged for duplicates as long as the "Skip Duplicates" option remains enabled and you export within the same folder where the original contacts reside. However, if you export to a different folder, duplicates will not be skipped, and credits may be deducted.

How to turn off skip duplicates?

During the list exporting process, once you’ve selected your output and reached the configuration page, you’ll see a "Skip Duplicates" checkbox, as shown in the image below. To disable the skip duplicates feature, simply uncheck this box.

How to download a list of duplicates?

On the list page, each list will display if any duplicates were skipped. This is indicated by a red number next to the total number of contacts for the exported list. Clicking on this red number allows you to download a CSV file containing the duplicates from the exported list. Refer to the image below for clarity.

Are duplicates skipped across team accounts?

Unfortunately, this functionality isn’t currently available. To avoid exporting the same list as your colleagues, you can refer to the article below, which explains how to view user activity and access their lists.
