LinkedIn Groups bring together professionals with shared interests, industries, or roles. You can use a group as a Sales Navigator filter, narrow the members to your ideal audience, and create a list with Wiza.
Before you start
You’ll need:
A Wiza account
The Wiza Chrome extension
Access to LinkedIn Sales Navigator
A LinkedIn group you want to use in your search
1. Find the group in Sales Navigator
Open LinkedIn Sales Navigator and start a lead search.
Open Lead filters.
Under Personal, find Groups and select the + button.
Search for the LinkedIn group and select it.
Sales Navigator will show people who belong to that group.
2. Narrow the group members
A group can contain thousands of people across different roles and locations. Use additional Sales Navigator filters to focus the search on the people you want to reach.
For example, you can filter by:
Job title
Geography
Industry
Seniority
Company size
Tip: LinkedIn only makes a limited number of search results available. If the search is too large, split it into smaller segments with filters and create a separate Wiza list from each segment.
3. Open the Wiza side panel
Select the Wiza button on the right side of LinkedIn to open the Wiza side panel.
The panel will display Contacts on this page after your Sales Navigator results finish loading.
4. Select the contacts for your list
In the Wiza side panel, select contacts in either of these ways:
Select the checkbox next to an individual contact.
Choose Select this page to select everyone shown on the current results page.
To add contacts from more pages, move to the next Sales Navigator results page and continue selecting. Wiza keeps your selections as you paginate or change searches.
The bottom of the panel shows the number of contacts selected. Choose View selected to review them, or Clear to start over.
Tip: For more targeted lists, refine the Sales Navigator filters before selecting contacts. You can also build one list from contacts selected across multiple results pages.
5. Create the Wiza list
When you have selected the contacts you want, choose Create list at the bottom of the side panel.
Wiza opens list setup in a new tab. Your selections remain saved if you return to Sales Navigator.
6. Choose an enrichment level and configure the list
On the Configure page, choose the data you need:
Profile Data — profile details without email or phone
Profile + Email Data — profile details with verified work or personal emails
Profile, Email + Phone Data — profile details with verified emails and available phone numbers
Then:
Name the list.
Choose the folder where it should be saved.
Choose the accepted email types.
Choose whether to sync the completed list to your CRM.
Review any additional options, including whether to skip duplicates.
Select Next step.
7. Review and create the list
On the Launch page, review the source, enrichment level, list settings, estimated credit usage, processing time, and any overages.
If everything is correct, select Start enrichment.
Note: If creating the list requires overages, the button will show Allow overages & enrich. Review the estimated overage amount before continuing.
8. Download or sync the completed list
Wiza will process the list and show its progress under Lists. When it is complete, you can:
Download the full list as a CSV
Download a specific result segment
Sync the contacts to a connected CRM
Troubleshooting
The side panel doesn’t show any contacts
Wait for the Sales Navigator results to finish loading. If the panel still shows Waiting for results or No contacts found, refresh the page or adjust your filters.
I don’t see the Wiza side panel
Make sure the Wiza Chrome extension is installed and that you’re signed in to Wiza. Refresh Sales Navigator, then select the Wiza button on the right side of the page.
I want contacts from more than one page
Select the contacts you want, move to the next Sales Navigator results page, and continue selecting. Wiza retains selections from previous pages, lists, and filters.
My search has too many results
Add filters such as title, geography, industry, or seniority to focus the search. Then select the contacts you want from each relevant results page.
Wiza says I don’t have enough credits
Remove contacts from your selection, or review the credit and overage options available for your account before creating the list.
